Annual Conference

The annual Nordic meeting place for the intellectual asset community

Each autumn, LES Scandinavia brings together the Nordic intellectual asset community for its annual conference – a well-established meeting point that combines high-quality professional content with an open and warm social atmosphere, bringing people together across business segments and borders.

The LES Scandinavia Annual Conference has established itself as a key annual meeting point for the Nordic community and its international friends. The conference typically opens on a September Sunday evening with a welcome reception, creating an informal and inclusive setting for participants to reconnect and establish new contacts. This is followed by two full days of conference sessions, with a gala dinner on Monday evening forming a central social highlight of the program.

The conference programs offer a mix of plenary sessions and in-depth tracks, covering commercial, strategic and legal perspectives on intellectual assets. Special attention is given to YMC (Young Members Congress), ensuring an inclusive setting for professional under 40.

Responsibility for each annual conference rotates among the Nordic member countries. The host national group appoints an Organising Committee that forms the conference in close cooperation with the LES Scandinavia Secretariat.

The LES Scandinavia conference moves between the Nordic countries on a regular basis, reinforcing its regional character and accessibility. Recent host countries have been Sweden (2023), Denmark (2024) and Finland (2025), and in 2026 the conference returns to Norway.
