About LES Scandinavia

LES Scandinavia is the Nordic chapter of the global Licensing Executives Society (LES), connecting professionals across Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway and Iceland to facilitate networking, knowledge exchange and professional development.

As part of the global LES International network, LES Scandinavia brings together individuals from across the Nordic region who work with intellectual assets in a commercial, strategic or legal context. Our community spans industries and disciplines, including business, law, technology and academia, reflecting the diverse perspectives required to create value from intellectual assets.

Through seminars, conferences and other professional activities, LES provides a forum for discussion and experience-sharing on current and emerging issues related to intellectual property, intellectual assets and their commercialization. We aim to support continuous learning, professional development and the building of personal networks by facilitating exchanges between practitioners with different backgrounds, roles and levels of experience.

Operating across national borders, LES Scandinavia also plays an important role in strengthening Nordic collaboration and connecting the region to the wider international LES community. By fostering relationships, sharing best practices and encouraging cross-border perspectives, we strive to facilitate a deeper understanding of how intellectual assets can be effectively managed, protected and commercialized, in a national, regional and global context.

LES Scandinavia is supported by an external Secretariat, operated by Northern Networking Events (NNE) in Scotland. NNE also serves as the secretariat for LES International. Our Secretariat manages the administrative matters, including membership enquiries and access to LESI’s member platforms, and supports the organization’s Annual Conference.
